Shipping & Refunds

Global Logistics & Quality Assurance Protocol

1. Export Shipping & Logistics

Trade Confirmation: Order processing commences only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C), as per the formal trade contract.

Transit Timelines: Delivery schedules depend on the chosen mode of transport (Air/Sea), destination port formalities, and seasonal logistics availability. We provide real-time tracking and documentation for all international shipments.

Packaging Excellence: All goods are packed under strict export-grade conditions, utilizing moisture-lock liners, vacuum sealing, or temperature-controlled environments (Cold Chain) where applicable, ensuring full Phytosanitary & APEDA compliance.

2. Mandatory Quality Verification

To maintain transparency and protect both parties, Desouza Farms LLP operates under a strict Video Verification Policy:

The Requirement

Upon arrival of the shipment at the Buyer’s warehouse or port of destination, the Buyer must record a continuous, unedited video of the container seal being broken and the subsequent unloading of the goods.

Purpose: This video serves as the primary evidence for insurance claims, transit damage assessments, or quality disputes. Failure to provide a clear "Unloading & Seal-Breaking Video" will void any claims for transit damage or quantity shortages.

3. Claims & Refunds

Eligibility: Refunds or replacements are offered only if the goods are received in a damaged state or are significantly misaligned with the pre-approved batch samples.

Filing Period: All claims must be filed via email to info@desouzafarms.com within 7 days of the shipment's arrival.

Required Documentation: Claims must be accompanied by the Container Opening Video, high-resolution photographs of the damage, and a third-party surveyor's report if required by the insurance provider.
